Seminar Details:

This session will provide an overview of Immigration law & practice which will address the structures of immigration control and appeals and the most frequent types of applications faced in everyday practice.
Topics will cover Immigration control, the Immigration rules, the points based system, EEA applications and family and personal migration.
The session will be presented by Grace McGill and Darren Stevenson , both experienced Immigration Solicitors of specialist immigration law firm McGill & Co.

Grace McGill is an experienced practitioner in immigration, nationality and refugee law who has specialised in this area since 1995, Grace McGill established McGill & Co in April 2008. She has extensive experience in all aspects of UK immigration law, focusing on family migration and commercial immigration, with a particular specialism in Tier 1 Investor applications. She is also uniquely skilled in inter-country adoption work.
Darren Stevenson has worked at McGill & Co since 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Darren spent 6 years working at the Home Office with what was then the UK Border Agency. This experience, which included representing the Secretary of State at tribunal hearings, allows him to provide a unique and useful perspective to clients.
