Research

Library staff have access to a number of databases as well as the unique collection of texts and resources available in the Library and are ready to help in any way they can. Effective and in-depth legal research can therefore be carried out more cost effectively through the Library staff than by sending a fee-earner or a trainee to the Library. Please click for a list of our charges.

Requests can be made by filling in the form below; alternatively, contact the Library by e-mail, fax, letter (post, DX or LP) or by telephone. Results of any research can be passed on by these methods. Please note that photocopying of resources must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of copyright legislation (see the section on copyright).

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of response, requests for research are only accepted on the basis that no liability shall attach to the Royal Faculty of Procurators for any research carried out.
