Seminar Details:

The seminar will look at a broad outline of the current practice of debt recovery in Scotland, the different options available to solicitors, the various forms of diligence available, and the tactics and tips for choosing between them. We will also consider the challenges and opportunities in the future of this field and how the profession may adapt to them. 

Joel Conn is a director of Mitchells Roberton, specialising in commercial litigation and debt recovery. He has a particular expertise in insolvency, factoring and finance leasing. He was the first solicitor to be awarded accreditation by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Debt & Asset Recovery Law.

 

Cost: Free for trainees, solicitors (up to 2 years' PQE) and law students.
For Solicitors over 2 years PQE there is a charge of £20.
