Would you like to be a part of the conveyancing team here in our fast advancing frim? To deliver the highest level of service to our clients who are buying and selling properties? Then this may be the role for you.

In this role you will be acting for private clients throughout the process of buying/selling residential property, drafting legal documentation and communicating and liaising with solicitor firms, lenders and clients to ensure that the sale and/or purchase of a residential property is successfully completed on the agreed date of entry

The Role will include:
• Dealing with residential conveyancing matters and dealing with the transactions from taking instructions through to settling the transaction and registering the deeds
• Ensuring all funds is in place by the client and lender prior to purchasing for clients. Also to ensure that net proceeds and the final mortgage redemption is paid immediately after the clients’ sale
• Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering procedures and Law Society of Scotland regulations
• Drafting legal documentation relating to the sale/purchase
• Working autonomously and under pressure in a fast paced environment with a busy case load
• Providing advice and guidance to clients on conveyancing matters
• Working within the team and reporting back to the team manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• An LLB or Registered paralegal qualification.
• 1+ PQE experience.
• Experience in dealing with conveyancing case management system
• Experience in dealing with 20+ conveyances a month
• Ability to progress own case load with little or no supervision
• Knowledge of conveyancing procedures
• Ability to draft legal documentation
• Ability to priories workload and the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent level of communication skills
• Excellent time management
• A professional and friendly manner with the ability to form a good rapport with clients

Previous experience in a law firm is essential.
Knowledge/Experience in Trust is desirable.

This role is offered on a full time basis (Monday to Friday commenting at 9am to 5pm) with a salary dependent upon experience
