Conveyancing Paralegal Vacancy

TC Young

TC Young are looking to recruit a Glasgow based Conveyancing Paralegal, who will work within our expanding Private Client department. This is a new role which will involve working independently, but as part of a friendly team , with a wide variety of work .This role is ideally full-time but consideration may be given to exceptional candidates who are interested in working part time, with a minimum of 25 hours per week being worked.

What we are looking for … the successful candidate will already be a registered paralegal and have the following:
• At least 2 years paralegal conveyancing experience
• A good knowledge of the property market, particularly Glasgow
• Ability to manage a large case load effectively (with minimal supervision)

The successful candidate must:
• Possess excellent IT skills
• Be able to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Be reliable
• Have good verbal communication skills, due to extensive client contact
• Be able to work well in a team
• Be highly presentable and professional at all times

Duties to include:
Dealing with all aspects of residential sales and purchases including:
• Preparing offers
• Preparing documentation for signature by clients
• Submitting Land and Buildings Transaction Returns and Registrations
• Dealing and Liaising with Clients and Lenders
