Corporate, Commercial & Property Solicitor

TC Young are looking to recruit a solicitor (up to 2yrs NQ) for our Corporate, Commercial & Property department, based in our Glasgow office. This role is a new role that has recently been created within the department, as a result the successful candidate will work with the relevant partners in a variety of different areas. This role is likely to evolve in line with the needs of the firm but presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is keen to enjoy a variety of different work at an early stage of their career.

Due to the volume of work within the department the successful candidate will be expected to manage a large and varied caseload within a very busy department.

This role is for full-time working 35 hours per hour

What we are looking for … the successful candidate will ideally have the following:

• Exposure to commercial property & development acquisition work
• Experience of projects, structures & commercial transactions
• An understanding of corporate work would be advantageous
• Be capable of ‘hitting the ground running’
• Be able to work under pressure
• An ability to be adaptable and to prioritise and manage their case load effectively
• Be able to meet client deadlines.
Reliable with excellent attention to detail, you will be working in a team where there will be extensive client contact. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to quickly understand a client’s requirements and tailor advice accordingly.
