2nd Year Trainee Solicitor

Oraclelaw are looking to engage a 2nd year trainee solicitor to work at their South Side Clarkston office. Suitable candidates will be expected to provide cover at our new office in Glasgow when it opens. Access to a car will occasionally required.

Experience in conveyancing and private client work is essential. Suitable candidates will be encouraged, when qualified, to obtain a STEP qualification. Candidates who wish to ultimately broaden their experience are also encouraged to apply but in the first instance this is a vacancy for a trainee who is interested in private client work.

Your workload will include domestic and commercial conveyancing, some lease work and private client services. Although you will be supported by experienced solicitors you will be expected to exhibit a degree of self-sufficiency. Our clients range from private individuals to SME’s including property developers and landlords.

We expect candidates to be thorough and diligent. Good MS WORD and drafting skills are essential.

We operate from a modern and comfortable office and utilise the latest case management and cloud-based software.
