Letter to the Dean of the Royal Faculty from Sheriff Principal Turnbull in relation to court slots for summary criminal business from Monday 6 July 2020.

In line with current social distancing guidelines, the number of persons who can be accommodated within the courts at any given time will be greatly restricted. The Sheriff Principal therefore proposes operating a system of slots for court business, in particular to accommodate the situation where a member has more than one case in a particular court, as those cases could be allocated to the same slot.

Guidance to facilitate the efficient disposal of certain categories of civil business in the Sheriff Court during the current COVID-19 emergency. Effective from 1 May 2020.

The RFPG Byelaws require that the minute of the previous year's AGM be displayed in the library in advance of the AGM. In light of lockdown guidance preventing members from accessing the library physically the 2019 AGM minute have also been posted to the website.
