Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow

Many thanks to all the teams that took part in the Royal Faculty/TANQ Quiz night. It was a terrific night and a total of £1,024 was raised for two charities (the Glasgow Children's Hispital Charity and the Royal Faculty's Reid Law Education Fund). Congratulations to the eventual winners - Digby Brown.

The Royal Faculty's Brodie Cup was played for at Pollock Golf Course on Wednesday 10 May. Congratulations to winners Macdonald Henderson and also to Angus Wood of MacRoberts (best individual player).

Members of the Royal Faculty are cordially invited to this year’s AGM following which there will be a drinks reception held in the Faculty Hall.

This review is also prompted, in part, by the need to assess the future use of the building. The survey will also afford members an opportunity to advise the RFPG of what it is doing right, any ways it can improve its services and what members would like the RFPG to focus on for the future.

The Royal Faculty's Triennial Dinner is one of the flagship social events of the legal calendar. The dinner coincides with the 200th anniversary of the Royal Faculty Library and will also be a celebration of this significant milestone for the legal profession in Glasgow. Having been established in February 1817 the library is one of the oldest in Scotland and an institution which the Royal Faculty is rightly proud off.
