Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow

Royal Faculty / Strathclyde Law Clinic - Initial Advice Clinic

The Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow has, in recent years, been a keen supporter of access to justice – having played an active part in the Glasgow Legal Walk and also hosting an Initial Advice Clinic in the Royal Faculty building (in conjunction with Strathclyde University Law Clinic). The Royal Faculty also has a long history of promoting legal education by providing grants to law students who are in need of financial assistance,  providing 16 prizes in various legal subjects at the three Glasgow Universities and raising money for the LawScot Foundation at the Triennial Dinner earlier this year..

We are planning to run another Initial Advice Clinic in November 2020 (with suitable safeguards, social distancing, etc.) in conjunction with Strathclyde University Law Clinic. Solicitors who can volunteer an evening to supervise the work of the student advisors are encouraged to read this leaflet and consider helping in this worthwhile cause.
