Trainee CPD - 2019 TCPD Course - now open for Registration

We are pleased to announce the opening of the TCPD programme for trainee solicitors to run from January to June 2019. This is the programme which has been prescribed by the Law Society and has to be undertaken by all trainee solicitors as a requirement for qualification as a solicitor. It will again be run jointly with the Scottish Law Agents Society and held in the Royal Faculty building.

Over the years, we have come to the conclusion that one of the most valuable aspects of the programme if not the most valuable, is the opportunity for trainees to network in a community with colleagues from other firms in other parts of the country and from other areas of legal practice. Although our formal meetings run from January to June 2019, the community forms itself by email and website communication as soon as trainees apply for the programme. This way, we hope to have much of the basis of the programme established before the formal meetings commence. Subscribing trainees are also able to use the Royal Faculty library while their course is ongoing and are invited to take out a one year free membership of the Scottish Law Agents Society. This further extends the networking potential of the programme.

Full details of the course and booking form are available here and the course timetable is available here
