Thursday 14 November 2019
05:45pm - 07:15pm
Kelly Fraser and Scott Kerr
Seminar Details:

The General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, became law in May 2018 and introduced wide-ranging changes to the existing regime and how we handle client's data. On the first anniversary of the Regulation coming into force, we'll be looking back and reflecting on what we've learned so far and if our understanding of the Regulation has changed now they are in practice.

We'll be looking at:
• Recapping the key changes made under the GDPR.
• What we now know about the Regulations in practice.
• Real-life experience of creating and implementing a new data culture in the workplace.
Learning outcomes:
• Reinforce and consolidate knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Develop understanding of new data regime in practice.
Learn from practical examples and experience from Data Protection Officers.
