Seminar Details:

The Royal Faculty’s 9th annual PI Conference will cover the usual wide range of topical subjects affecting personal injury claims and litigation in Scotland.

The intention is to update and inform all PI practitioners and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and debate throughout the day.
We have a first class line up of speakers and topics -

  • Charles Hennessy (Univeristy of Strathclyde) - Review of the year’s decided PI cases
  • Mark Gibson (Digby Brown) - Multi party actions
  • Robert Milligan QC - QOCS and counterclaims – Who gets the Protection?
  • Paul Jenkins (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Director at Glasgow Royal Infirmary) - Low velocity injuries
  • David Hennessy (Keoghs) - Employers Liability Litigation in 2019
  • Sheriff Peter J. Braid - Reflections from the All Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court

The Conference will be chaired by Charles Hennessy and will provide 5.5 hours CPD time.

Booking fee: members £100; non-members £160; trainee/paralegal from member firm £30; trainee/paralegal from non-member firm £60
