About the Seminar:

In this talk Richard Moorhead will consider the ways in which lawyer conduct has been front and centre in the Post Office Scandal in evidence and in final submissions to the Post Office Inquiry. Lawyers senior and junior, in-house and in private practice, solicitors and barristers are likely to be severely criticised when the Inquiry reports. He will consider whether the lessons is that the Post Office employed and instructed bad apples or whether the cases illustrate ethics risks, in-house and in private practice,  to which all lawyers would be wise to pay greater attention


About the Speaker, Richard Moorhead:

Richard Moorhead is Professor of Law and Professional Ethics at the University of Exeter, a former solicitor, and an honorary Professor of Law at University College London. He sits on the Horizon Compensation Advisory Board advising the Department for Business and Trade on Post Office compensation schemes.…
