Job Title: Scottish Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Location: Scotland – Glasgow/Edinburgh (or surrounding area)

Salary: Negotiable and dependent upon experience


Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Scottish Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Scottish law and the personal injury process, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should have experience of both Sheriff Court and Court of Session.


The role will involve:

• Advising clients on their legal rights and options following a personal injury.

• Preparing and managing claims on behalf of clients both pre-litigation and post litigation.

• Negotiating settlements with institutions and / or their insurers.

• Representing clients in court, including procedural hearings.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Scottish Solicitor.

• 2+ years' experience in Clinical Negligence.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Desired Skills:

• Experience in Scottish Personal Injury law.

• Good understanding of commercial decision making.

• Use of Proclaim.
