Summary Case Management Pilot Project

The Sheriff Principal has issued a practice note to make the process of the Summary Case Management Pilot Project easier to follow for all concerned and a memo setting out the principles of the pilot and what will be expected of defence agents.

Sheriffs will expect court practitioners to be familiar with the aims, objectives and processes involved in the pilot, with effect from Monday, 29 January.
