TANQ seminar - The Business of Law

Seminar Details:

Seminar aimed at the 'business of law' rather than the substance. Topics to be addressed include commercial awareness, fostering client relationships, converting leads, drumming up business and networking.

A panel of three experts will each speak for c. 10-15 minutes followed by a Q&A session.

Panel:
Jonathan Kee – Principal Solicitor at Kee Solicitors. Jonathan undertook his traineeship in family law and specialised into this field following qualification. He set up his own firm in late 2018.
Anne Macdonald – Partner at Harper Macleod – she was the first non-fee earning partner and set up the Business Development team at HM.
Melissa Rutherford – set up firm Rutherford Sheridan in 2016 specialising in immigration, family and criminal law.

Cost: Free for trainees, solicitors (up to 2 years' PQE) and law students. For Solicitors over 2 years PQE there is a charge of £20.
