Complaints: an interactive session on risk

Susan Williams, Best Practice Adviser with the SLCC, will provide several real examples of tricky situations that you might encounter in complaints. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss a scenario that you’ll get on the day, in informal group sessions, and then to hear also from others who’ve been considering different scenarios in their groups. There won’t be a formal presentation from the SLCC, but Susan can give some pointers to help you think about your risk, is happy to answer any questions, and hear your comments.

Susan qualified and worked overseas in a variety of fields, including insurance, tertiary and continuing legal education, and parliamentary reporting and research. After many years working for regulators in different fields, she joined the SLCC in 2017.
