Auditor Service

The Royal Faculty’s Auditor Service has been has been providing an independent and authoritative feeing of trust and executry, commercial leases, corporate work and general business files for the legal profession since 1844.

 

A certificate of fee assessment will be prepared for all accounts issued under the auspices of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow. 

If required an Account of charge and discharge will be prepared balancing all the intromissions in the estate. 

A computation of Legal and Prior rights can also be prepared. 

All aspects of capital gains and inheritance tax work including returns. 

In addition to the above, the feeing service offered by the Royal Faculty for private client work offers notes of fee (either by way of certificate of assessment from the Auditor or on a detailed basis). 

This service is also available for commercial client feeing. 

 

Janet Blackstock assumed the position of Royal Faculty Auditor in July 2017. Previously Janet worked for the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service for 27 years working in various sheriff courts across the West of Scotland and representing Scottish Courts and Tribunals on many corporate projects. Janet has experience in all aspects of legal work in Scots law and, over a 13-year period, was the Sheriff Clerk and Auditor of Court at Greenock, Rothesay and Dunoon Courts. Janet is a member of the Society of Sheriff Court Auditors (SOCA) and brings a wealth of experience to the office of Auditor of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow. 

Court Feeing Service

The Court Feeing Service is run along similar lines to the Executry Feeing Service.
