Initial Advice Clinic at the Royal Faculty (in conjunction with Strathclyde Uni Law Clinic)

The Royal Faculty is delighted to host the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic's Initial Advice Clinic (IAC) in the Royal Faculty building on Wednesday 1st February 2023.

The University of Strathclyde Law Clinic offers free advice and representation to assist clients who cannot get legal advice elsewhere. The service is run by volunteer law students working under the supervision of suitably qualified staff.

The IAC is a drop in legal surgery open to members of the public with a range of issues that require on the spot advice. This can range from advice on writing a letter to advice on whether their employment case is worth pursuing.

The University of Strathclyde Law Clinic is always keen to hear from qualified solicitors who would be able to volunteer to give advice at IACs (particularly housing, employment and high street solicitors). Anyone wishing to volunteer should contact the IAC Coordinator Alasdair Flett
