Ahsan is a two-time Council member of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow and sits on the marketing and court committees. He works in private practice as a Senior Associate in the Banking Litigation team within the wider Lender Services Practice Group at Aberdein Considine LLP.
 
Ahsan is also an elected member on the Law Society of Scotland’s Council for the Glasgow & Strathkelvin constituency and sits on the Society’s Board. Additionally, he is a member of the Society’s civil justice committee, consumer law sub-committee and he is Vice Chair of the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland’s Editorial Advisory Board.
