Ahsan is a two-time Council member of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow and sits on the education, marketing and court committees. He works in private practice as a Senior Associate in the Banking Litigation team within the wider Lender Services Practice Group at Aberdein Considine LLP. He is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in debt and asset recovery.
 
Ahsan is an elected member on the Law Society of Scotland’s Council for the Glasgow & Strathkelvin constituency and sits on the Society’s Board. Additionally, he is a member of the Society’s civil justice committee, consumer law sub-committee and sits on the Standard Interview Panel, a sub-group of the Admissions Sub Committee, reviewing specific admissions cases related to entering the profession. He is also Vice Chair of the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland’s Editorial Advisory Board.
