He will also look at how arbitration shapes global dispute resolution and the opportunities that are available for Scottish lawyers in this dynamic field.
About the Speaker, Brandon Malone (Ampersand Advocates):
Professor Brandon Malone is an Advocate, Barrister, Arbitrator and Adjudicator. He has over thirty years of commercial dispute resolution experience. Brandon drafted the proposal for what became the Scottish Arbitration Centre and chaired its board from its establishment in 2011 until 2022. He is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the world’s leading arbitration institutions, and has arbitrated cases on four continents under many different legal systems and in accordance with a wide range of institutional rules.
