About the Seminar:

In this practical session, Bilaal will explain how counsel approach research in live cases. The session will cover how to define the issue, structure a research plan, find and assess authority, check whether the law remains current and recognise when sufficient research has been done. It will also consider common mistakes, the careful use of online research tools and how to present the results effectively in advice, pleadings and oral submissions.
