Describe the approach taken by the RFPG Auditor in Private Client Feeing
Highlight procedures for dealing with disputed fees
Provide a brief Overview of Judicial Accounts/Taxations
About the Speaker:
Janet Blackstock assumed the position of Royal Faculty Auditor in July 2017. Previously Janet worked for the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service for 27 years working in various sheriff courts across the West of Scotland and representing Scottish Courts and Tribunals on many corporate projects. Janet has experience in all aspects of legal work in scots law and, over a 13-year period, was The Sheriff Clerk and Auditor of Court at Greenock, Rothesay and Dunoon Courts. Janet is a member of the Society of Sheriff Court Auditors (SOCA) and brings a wealth of experience to the office of Auditor of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow.
