About The Event
This two-part seminar series - aimed at Trainees - explores the principles of professional legal ethics. The series is designed to meet all Law Society of Scotland TCPD outcomes.
The seminars will be delivered in-person, allowing for the chance for peer interaction and group discussion.
Seminar 1 will take place on Thursday November 13th and will examine the solicitor’s role as a member of the legal profession and duties to the court, with topics including professional candour, independence, and the avoidance of misleading conduct.
Seminar 2 will take place on Thursday November 20th and will explore confidentiality and conflicts of interest, offering practical guidance on navigating ethical dilemmas in client representation and firm management.
Each seminar will last 2 hours - from 5:30pm - 7:30pm
