Speaker: Prof. Kenneth Norrie (University of Strathclyde)

Prof. Kenneth Norrie will examine the statutory changes that are now in force and those still awaiting commencement, as well as referencing the recent case law.

 

Professor Kenneth McKenzie Norrie is a professor of Law at the University of Strathclyde, where he has taught and researched family law for over 25 years. He is author of numerous textbooks on Scottish family law and has published widely in journals on family law. He acted as Parliamentary Adviser to the Scottish Parliament during the passages of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 2006, the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007 and the Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011.
