A practical look at the restrictions imposed by s.216 Insolvency Act 1986 on directors of an insolvent company who become involved with a company using the same or a similar name. The seminar will explore the scope of the prohibition, the statutory exceptions, and the potentially serious consequences of getting it wrong — including where timings might cause some difficulty.

About the Speaker, Alan Munro (Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie):
