About the event

The Royal Faculty of Procurators, with its rich heritage and commitment to legal education, proudly presents the Sheriff Principal's Mooting Competition, 

The Final of the 2024 edition of the Sheriff Principal's Mooting Competition will feature the winners of the preliminary rounds between teams from the University of Glasgow v Glasgow Caledonian University and Glasgow College v the University of Strathclyde. The teams will be made up of two 1st or 2nd year law students from each institution.

The moot will be presided over by Sheriff Principal Aisha Anwar.

Attendance is free and all practitioners and law students (whether participating or not) are are very welcome to attend all of these events. Each session will be followed by a convivial drinks reception, fostering opportunities for networking, camaraderie, and the exchange of ideas - an essential aspect of legal education and professional growth.
