About the event
Trainees and NQs are well placed to bring to their colleagues' notice issues of competition law and related areas in order to avoid risk or suggest remedies for clients. This will be intended to highlight practical examples from property, litigation, contract and corporate transactions where competition law has had an impact, often a surprise to all involved.
The speaker Michael Dean is a partner in Dentons. He began his career in general practice in Glasgow. Having moved on from general practice, he has focused largely on competition law advice and investigations (but also subsidy control, procurement law and anti-bribery compliance). His practice is Band 1 ranked by Legal Directories. Over his 30 year career he has come across range of issues arising in varied areas of practice that may be of interest to young lawyers.
