About the Seminar:
In this talk Scott will, using examples drawn from liquor, civic government and short term let licensing, set out and explain, what he considers to be the core principles of the litigious aspects of licensing law. The presentation is aimed at demonstrating how knowledge of these principles can help win a case on appeal or before a contentious Board or Committee hearing and will address issues from trade, local authority and police perspectives.
About the Speaker, Scott Blair (Terra Firma Chambers):
Scott has been ranked in Tier 1 for his expertise in licensing law in Chambers UK for many years. He is described in the current edition as an "outstanding advocate" who "knows licensing law inside out". He is also recognised for his expertise in public law , judicial review and local government law.
