About The Event

This year's Lord Rodger Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Justice of the Supreme Court, The Right Hon Lord Doherty, as part of the UKSC's historic sitting in Glasgow. The seminar will discuss the work of a Justice in the Supreme Court and the JCPC.


A drink's reception will follow the conclusion of the evening's formalities, hosted in the Royal Faculty's Main Library, and delegates are welcome to join our esteemed guests for a jovial evening, celebrating the legal profession in the heart of Scotland.

This lecture series is held in honour of Lord Rodger of Earlsferry - a friend, contributor and honorary member of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow - whom had been due to lead a seminar here at the time of his untimely death. In his memory, we hold a biennial…
