About the event
The topic of whistleblowing and the protections afforded to employees in this respect can be complex and challenging and this session will set out a reminder of the key principles for practitioners to bear and mind as well as provide an update on case law developments in the area in the past year.
Giles Woolfson is a director of McGrade & Co Ltd and is accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in employment law. He advises employers and individuals on complex employment issues including whistleblowing, discrimination, restrictive covenants and TUPE. He previously sat as a fee-paid Employment Judge. He is a trained mediator, has conducted a number of workplace and employment mediations in the public and private sector, and tutors on mediation at the University of Strathclyde. Giles provides employment law training to solicitors, advisors and employers and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
