Practice Note No 3 of 2025-Applications for Confirmation

Sheriff Principal Anwar expresses her gratitude to the President of the GBA and the Dean of the Royal Faculty of Procurators, Glasgow for their input in relation to the proposed checklist.

In terms of the Practice Note, attached below, with effect from 13th October 2025 all applications for confirmation will require to be accompanied by a completed checklist. It is hoped that this will improve the efficiency of the process by reducing the number of applications which are returned to solicitors.
