Sheriff Court Library: a Resource for Members

1 min read

Members are reminded that, in addition to the Main Library in Nelson Mandela Place, the Royal Faculty also maintains a small library within Glasgow Sheriff Court for the use of members.

Located in Room 1.52 of Glasgow Sheriff Court, the library is intended to provide court practitioners with a convenient last-minute reference resource and a base to work from while appearing at court.

The library contains a selection of core legal textbooks and case report series, together with computers, printing facilities and Wi-Fi access.

Access

Your RFPG membership card also acts as a door-entry fob for both the Main Library and the Sheriff Court Library.

If you do not currently have a membership card, or require a replacement, please contact the Library and we can arrange for one to be made up.

Help us keep the library useful

The Sheriff Court Library is an unmanned resource, so we would encourage members who use it to let Library staff know if there are any books, materials or other resources which would be useful to have available, or if you notice anything which requires attention.

We hope members appearing regularly (or occasionally) at Glasgow Sheriff Court will make use of this convenient additional benefit of RFPG membership.
