Solicitor (Immigration and Asylum)

We are seeking a qualified solicitor to join our expanding immigration and asylum department.

This position would provide a solicitor with a background in immigration and asylum an opportunity to expand on their range of experience before the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) and also the Upper Tribunal (IAC). The successful candidate will be supported to manage and develop an immigration and asylum caseload.

We are well-established Glasgow-based firm, with a busy immigration and asylum department. We are looking for a solicitor who is motivated, well-organised and keen to practice in the field of immigration and asylum. We offer an excellent working environment with a friendly and supportive team.

Experience with legal aid is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own varied case load with access to support from the Partners and colleagues within the Firm. The case load will be a mix of legal aid and private work. There are pathways for career progression for the right candidate.

The starting salary will be commensurate with experience.
