About the Seminar:
An overview of the common issues encountered by purchasers when attempting to ‘rely’ on a PCC in a claim for damages and how, as a conveyancing solicitor, you can reduce your own risk of being held liable in any question of professional duty owed to the client.
In this session, Kirsty will provide her analysis of the case law guiding the treatment of PCCs and will offer her tips on some of the things that must be included in a PCC to increase a client’s chances of being able to rely on it, as well as the importance of the timing of a PCC when completing any transaction for the purchase of a property.
