Farewell Reception for Sheriff Principal Aisha Anwar

Members of the Royal Faculty are warmly invited to attend a farewell reception in honour of Sheriff Principal Aisha Anwar as she prepares to take up her appointment as a Senator of the College of Justice.

The Sheriff Principal is hosting the event as an opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to making Glasgow Sheriff Court "Scotland's best Sheriff Court", and to recognise the collective efforts of the local legal profession, Procurators Fiscal, court clerks and staff who support the work of the court.

The reception will take place at 4.30pm in the staff canteen at Glasgow Sheriff Court and will include a buffet and refreshments, followed by brief tributes and words of thanks from the Sheriff Principal.

The Royal Faculty is grateful to the Sheriff Principal for extending this invitation to our members and encourages those who are available to attend what promises to be a fitting occasion to celebrate her leadership and wish her every success in her new judicial role.
