Glasgow Legal Walk 2025

The Royal Faculty looks forward once more to sponsoring this year’s Glasgow Legal Walk set take place on Wednesday 24th September 2025. The annual charity event coordinated by the Access Justice Foundation encourages members and supporters of the legal community to walk to raise money for much-needed local advice centres. The walk will be great fun, offer excellent networking opportunities, and provide the chance to learn about some local legal landmarks.
Date: Wednesday 24th September 2025
Time: 5pm for registration and address by Sheriff Principal Aisha Anwar. Following a group photo, the walk will then set off at 5.30pm led by former Dean of the Faculty, Austin Lafferty.
Start Point: Sheriff Court (Front Steps)
End Point/Closing Reception: The Royal Faculty Building
All are invited - sheriffs, advocates, solicitors, paralegals, trainees and law students, as well their colleagues, friends, family (dogs) to walk with us. Simply follow the links below to register you/your team’s place or make a donation!
The walk will take approximately 1 hour at a leisurely pace with insightful commentary from Austin as the group makes its way through the city centre.
We are delighted to have Kelly Brotherhood of Clyde & Co. volunteer as our first aider on the walk.
