The Royal Faculty hopes that this year’s Glasgow Legal Walk will be bigger and better than ever.
Taking place on Wednesday 30th September 2026, the annual charity event coordinated by the Access Justice Foundation encourages members and supporters of the legal community to raise money for much-needed local advice centres. The walk will be great fun, offer excellent networking opportunities, and provide the chance to learn about the city’s legal landmarks.
Date: Wednesday 30th September 2026
Start Point: Sheriff Court (Front Steps) End Point/Closing Reception: The Royal Faculty Building
Time: 5pm for registration. Following a group photo, the walk will then set off at 5.30pm led by former Dean of the Faculty, Austin Lafferty.
All are invited - sheriffs, advocates, solicitors, paralegals, trainees and law students, as well their colleagues, friends, family (& dogs!) to walk with us. Simply follow the links below to register you/your team’s place or to make a donation.
The walk will take approximately 1 hour at a leisurely pace with insightful commentary from Austin as the group makes its way through the city centre.
