"You will likely already be aware that the Scottish Government’s legal aid consultation is currently underway and its importance for the future of legal aid in Scotland, including ensuring access to justice and to practitioners working across Scotland in local communities.

"... details of two online Law Society of Scotland forums taking place later this month:

• Monday 21 September @3.30pm – Legal aid reform: Scottish Government’s vision for change. This session will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the Minister, Kirsten Oswald, on the Scottish Government’s proposals and the consultation currently underway. Further information and registration details are available here: Legal aid reform – Scottish Government’s vision for change.

• Monday 28 September @4pm – Legal aid reform: your voice matters.
