The Sheriff Principal's Moot

The Royal Faculty plans to hold a mooting competition for law students at Glasgow University, Glasgow Caledonian University, City of Glasgow College and Strathclyde University. 

Four teams of two students each will compete in the preliminary round in April/May 2023 and will be judged by Senior Sheriffs. With the final to be held on 24 May 2023 and presided over by Sheriff Principal Anwar. Students and members of the Royal Faculty will be welcome to attend these events, which will be followed by a drinks reception.

The Royal Faculty is hoping that firms would be able to support this initiative by offering the students who participate in the mooting events e.g. a week's work experience and would welcome any notes of interest. Please send any notes of interest or offers of help to
