AWI Practice Note (No. 3 of 2024)

The Sheriff Principal has issued a Practice Note which will have a material impact on the preparation of guardianship applications for lodging at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

There is now a checklist attached to the practice note.  Practitioners should complete that checklist when submitting an application.  It is hoped that by doing so the number of applications returned without a warrant will be reduced.

The practice note will come into force on 1 August.
