McVey and Murricane
We are seeking a talented and thoughtful individual to join our growing team, bringing together expertise in Conveyancing or Executries, Wills and Estates. This is an opportunity for an experienced fee earner who enjoys solving complex or unusual legal issues that don’t always sit neatly in a single category along with the standard matters.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied workload of transactions and advice
Supporting the wider teams with advice and guidance
Maintaining accurate records and delivering clear, empathetic client communication
Managing a busy case load, proactively advising clients to guide them through the conveyancing process through to settlement
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
What We’re Looking For
A qualified Scottish solicitor or Paralegal
An interest in solving legal problems and working across disciplines
Strong attention to detail, pragmatism, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused and collaborative approach
Confidence working independently while also contributing to wider team projects.
What We Offer
Be part of a progressive, long-established firm with one of Scotland’s leading property practices
Exposure to a wide variety of property matters – not just routine transactions
An open-minded working environment where initiative and insight are valued
Ongoing support, training and professional development opportunities
Flexible and supportive working culture
Competitive salary and benefits
Due to continued growth we would also welcome applications from less experienced individuals, those looking for traineeships and work experience so even if you do not fit exactly the criteria above, please go get in touch with Gill Taylor at gtaylor@mcvey-murricane.com.
